About NUM PANG

Our story starts off like many before us, the child of an immigrant family, who yearns to create delicious food reminiscent of the flavors grandma made. In an effort to honor our Southeast Asian-American culture, Num Pang was created. Unapologetically spiced, sweet, and sour.

MEET NIKKI:

Hi, my name is Nikki, and I am the owner of Num Pang. Growing up, I realized my love for cooking stemmed from my grandma. She taught me everything I know and helped shape who I am today. Being a first-generation Cambodian-American, I realized that my upbringing was special. I got to see a blend of cultures, and it helped me create dishes that I love and were able to put on the menu. I also have a love for bread making, and I feel that freshness absolutely shapes how delicious a sandwich is. Which is why we will always bake each baguette fresh every morning.

MEET BRIAN:

I’m Brian, a self-taught Chef and Entrepreneur. I co-own Num Pang, Burger Daddies, Apsara, and The Salsa Collaborative with my amazingly talented partner and wife, Nikki! My life path has led me to my greatest joy, which is cooking for and serving my community. I feel that food can create a shared space at any table, for anyone, in this world. Regardless of background, food can establish a connection that can be universally understood even when language barriers are present. It has been one of my greatest achievements in life to produce this experience for my neighbors.
